Good Saint Joseph

Brendan and Clara attended a beautiful mass a couple of weeks ago for the installation of new lectors from the Saint Paul Seminary. Brendan's brother, Evan, was installed at this mass. After mass, Brendan and Clara knelt before a statue of Good Saint Joseph to ask for his prayers for our home. (And Aunt Kathy couldn't help but snap a photo!)

Please continue to pray today and throughout the next several days as we hope to approach a purchase agreement with a potential buyer. (See the post below.)

I just met Evan tonight! I thought his name sounded familiar and he explained that I was probably thinking of his BROTHER'S blog heehee! He was in our parish's basement chatting with some of the parishioners about seminary stuff (my aunt and uncle among them). Small, small world, huh? I am praying hard for you guys to sell your home soon. This is the WORST time of year and the WORST time for sellers but it sure is nice to have lots of prayers and St. Joseph in your corner!

I totally forgot you and your family are members at St. Michael's. You'll be seeing a lot of Evan then! That's his teaching parish for the rest of his time at seminary. I can't wait to get out there for a mass, from all the pictures it looks like a gorgeous church (especially compared to the rest of suburbia).
